Welcome to visit my website. I am a lecturer in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science Program(DACSS) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Trained as a political scientist, my research interests include court and judicial politics, comparative public opinion, and political participation with a specifical focus in China and the US. Before joining DACSS, I received a BA in Law from Sun Yat-sen University, a MA in International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, and a MA and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Iowa. I previously served as a research intern at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington D.C. and the Carter Center in Atlanta. I was also a contributor to a Podcast on American Politics and Elections and I wrote for different media and papers, including the New York Times, for the 2016 Presidential Election.
